— You have been in the profession for almost half a century, what brought you to medicine?
— Yes, I have been working as a doctor since 1973. As a child, I was sick a lot, and the realization that I could help myself, knowing the problem, became one of the factors in choosing a profession, which was then considered very prestigious. And one more factor played a role - my older brother was a doctor, he worked as a therapist.
— When you entered medical school, did you already understand what area you wanted to specialize in?
— Да, я работаю врачом с 1973 года. В детстве я много болел, и осознание того, что я могу помочь сам себе, зная проблему, стало одним из факторов при выборе профессии, которая тогда считалась очень престижной. И еще один фактор сыграл свою роль — мой старший брат был врачом, он работал терапевтом.
